Karen Karen Klee-Atlin uses overprinting and layering of imagery in her large scale woodcuts to evoke stands of dense forests, and uses her smaller prints and paintings to record the processing of the trees after they are harvested. The images for these works come from Golden Gardens in Ballard and from near her family’s cabin in Northern Ontario.
