In various media, Cynthia Hibbard interprets abstract imagery and imagined messages extracted from wide-ranging surfaces of the built environment.
Her exploration, which prowls over roadways, sidewalks, floors, and airport tarmacs demonstrates that a viewfinder held over practically any two square inches of ground will isolate implied significance or snatches of beauty.
Hibbard also introduces the drawings, paintings and collages of Susan Tureck in a mini exhibition on “The Art of Barbering.”
