Statement
Recently discovered while exploring the Giant Crystal Caves in Naica, Chihuahua, Mexico, a pair of capsules containing DNA-based data storage cells reveals images and information about a distant civilization. Computer scientists at the University of Washington and Microsoft worked to decipher trillions of encoded DNA data strands; van den Bosch displays a sampling of the results in his current exhibition.
