Statement

These new prints and paintings explore some views (actual or cultural) which are selected, removed or obscured. In the Blazed Tree series the chosen, beribboned trees, ease one’s path through the woods but at other times these markers signal a future culling. Other works in the show focus on literal landscape views that have been physically obscured while one large piece examines a more political shift in views.
