The Seattle Deconstructed Art Fair runs online and in person from August 5 – 31, 2021.

Back by popular demand, the Seattle Deconstructed Art Fair returns in August 2021, celebrating the resilience of visual arts in Seattle with over 40 galleries, art institutions and non-profit organizations participating in this month-long event.

Shift artist members will have work examples projected in the gallery, along with the physical work by three other artist members Anne Marie Nequette, Ken Barnes, and Stephanie Krimmel. Gallery hours are Fridays and Saturdays, 11-4pm. Meet the Artist receptions will take place on First Thursday, August 5, 5-8pm, and Saturdays, August 7 and 21.

Art enthusiasts and collectors are invited to view all SDAF exhibitions online at www.seattledeconstructedartfair.com, and in person at individual gallery locations. Check out the consolidated calendar of events – featuring in person exhibition openings, artist meet & greets, and more, and an online map of all the participating galleries. We invite viewers to use this website portal to explore participating venues, plan your visits and learn more about our vibrant arts community.

Through the generous support of the Alliance for Pioneer Square the Free parking program will return to select garages from 5-10 pm on August 5, 2021.* Patrons must simply pick up a free parking voucher from a neighborhood gallery and present it to the parking attendant when leaving the garage. The Alliance will be creating and distributing maps with the SDAF branding to the participating SDAF galleries along with the parking vouchers.

*The Frye Garage at 117 3rd Ave Street is one block west of Shift Gallery.

Additionally, the Alliance will be hosting live music in Occidental Square from 3-5pm, and again in Nord Alley with a lineup of four local bands playing sets from 5-9pm. They have also organized public art installations by Celeste Cooning and Dylan Neuwirth that will be on view.
