This pop-up show of quirky garden follies (ceramic sculptures by David Traylor) amongst joyous garden inspired paintings (paintings and constructions by Anna Macrae) is part of Chelsea Fringe.
Anna Macrae is a British born artist, who has been raised in a family of artists and gardeners and continues in that tradition. Her art and garden overlap in her need to build, find solace and become immersed in the physical process of creating beauty from mud. She is interested in the notion of making a living footprint representing a small moment in time that takes a lifetime to take root. website: www.annamacrae.com instagram: @annamacrae_art
David Traylor is an artist and landscape architect whose art is rooted in the patterns, forms and colors found in gardens and landscapes. Working primarily with ceramics, his sculptures range from highly textured organic forms to more architectural fanciful structures. website: www.davidtraylorstudio.com instagram: @davidtraylorstudio
