Play and exploration in the use of found objects and everyday materials have been a constant in Anna Macrae’s practice. This current series continues to be grounded in a process based art making approach, combined with the use of non precious simple materials and mediums as she explores the physicality of materials. Macrae gives a nod to traditional art history in her contemporary renderings of 2 and 3 dimensional forms
