Opening/First Thursday Art Walk: April 2, 5-8 pm
Sculptural Textile Demo and Material Playshop: Saturday, April 18, 1:00 pm
Artists’ Chat with Stephanie Krimmel and Amanda Triplett: Saturday, April 25, 2-4pm

Working with natural phenomena such as the Missoula Floods, wetland eco-systems, and Pando tree, Nature Practice brings together several of Amanda Triplett’s recent collaborative projects. Featuring fiber-based sculptural works made from salvaged textiles, Triplett explores how nature offers not only inspiration and calm, but also a blueprint for resilience and growth in challenging times.

Amanda will be debuting the works that she made from being a resident with Friends of Pando in 2024-2025 and will also show a selection of works from the past few years of working with the Oregon Origins Project VI and Terrain. On these projects, Amanda consulted and collaborated with a composer, curators, scientists, environmental stewards, and of course, nature itself to create this body of work. Amanda is so grateful for the wonderful people and organizations that helped to make this work possible.
