Saturday, May 30, 2-4 pm: Artists’ Talk with Anna Macrae and Flora Ramirez-Bustamante. Moderator Stephanie Krimmel/Closing Event
Anna Macrae’s and Flora Ramirez-Bustamante’s work plays with ambiguities that reference interiority, accumulation, history, and humor. Whether through painting, vessels, or sculptural forms, each piece in this exhibition contributes to a broader, fragmented narrative—sometimes chaotic, always eclectic —that shapes the personal imaginary of these two European artists. Their work invites us into a lyrical and symbolic conversation with the domestic and the memories that are embedded within the surface.
