Shift Gallery, a nonprofit collective art gallery in Pioneer Square, is soliciting applications for its diversity grant. This grant provides a $500 award for installing artwork or an installation in the gallery window during August 2026. We hope to help introduce an emerging/mid career artist to our gallery and audience.
Shift Gallery members recognize that art is a creative pursuit limited only by one’s imagination. As a collective we are dedicated to showcasing narratives from a diverse population, particularly BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) and underrepresented voices in the Seattle Area. We are offering a $500 grant to a promising BIPOC visual artist for theopportunity to display their work in our window gallery during the month of August 2026.
