October 2 – November 1, 2025
Opening/First Thursday Art Walk: October 2, 5-8 pm
Crows move through our cities and daily lives as watchful companion – playful, intelligent, enduring presences that adapt alongside us. Creature of Presence turns its gaze back on them, reconsidering the symbols and meanings long placed on their dark wings.
Through vibrant images and penned observations, the show reimagines the crow not as omen or harbinger, but as a joyful, curious, and resourceful neighbor. By queering and overturning inherited stereotypes, these pieces invite us to see the crow as both mirror and messenger – revealing something of our own adaptability, mystery, and resilience within our everyday Seattlescape.
