Re‑Mythic takes a sardonic look at the way authoritarian regimes go hunting for legitimacy in the past, clinging to Greek and Roman classicism as inherited destiny.
In these paintings, iconic statues don’t cooperate as status quo symbols. They crack, tilt, and slide into rising waters. Coyotes wander in and out of scenes, adaptable survivors and witnesses to entropy.
