March 7 – 30, 2024
Opening/First Thursday Art Walk: March 7, 5 – 8 pm
“I Don’t Believe In Objects” is a series of paintings that explores the modernist canon of still lifes. These paintings recreate domestic objects within a lyrical and semi-abstract context focused on the relationships between the objects that recursively appear in different paintings. With this change of focus, the artist exposes the inner dialogue that she establishes with those objects, enhancing their emotional and poetic value, and transcending the domestic and decorative point of view.
